Business Analyst Patient Prediction
This is a highly visible role as a business analyst (BA) directing collaboration across various departments together with business & technology stakeholders. The Business Analyst must have a healthcare background, and be well-versed in healthcare integrations and diagnoses data. The BA will work with the business collecting and understanding business requests and translating them into feature requirements.These requirements are building the foundation of the new enterprise reporting path for Signify Health.
This role will report to our Product Managers.
What will you do?
Key tasks will be the ability to translate and communicate the business requests into features and provide the underlying business benefit. Transforming the benefit(s) into use cases, and will assist developers assess progress during development. Use cases assure all constituents have the same interpretation of the requirements. On more elaborate requests such as dashboards gathering comprehensive documentation detailing any complex user interactions and rendering the request into wireframes or mockups for review with stakeholders. At any point during the development cycle questions may arise or gaps in logic found that this role will need to troubleshoot, clarify with business, and update requirements.
Once development is in progress assist developers & QA testers with testing any metric transformations, complex calculations or dashboard interactions. Detailed testing of metric transformations from source table to final view in report/dashboard. Over time BA will develop subject matter expertise to account for logic for outliers or exceptions for certain partners.
The BA may lead hotfixes where bugs are found with a feature in production. When analysis is completed the impact will be discussed with business to determine priority. BA will then work with all parties to fix, test and release hotfix into the production environment.
We are looking for someone with:
- Minimum 3 years healthcare experience - provider and or payer.
- FHIR, ICD and Hl7 knowledge a plus
- Must have Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience with Tableau or other BI tools
- SAS, SPSS, or R experience is a plus
- Interest in Data Science
- Experience presenting
- Translator between technologists and non-technologists (i.e., C-suite)
- Hardworking, nice, fun to work with
