We are currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our team.

 

Essential Functions:

AWS Infrastructure Management:

• Manage and optimize AWS services including EC2, SQS, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, Cognito, CloudFront, Fargate, ECS, and RDS (PostgreSQL and MySQL).
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Support the Infrastructure day-to-day activities and escalate the unsolved issues to the next level

 DevOps Practices and Tooling:

• Utilize DevOps tools such as Nexus, Gitlab, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Service Catalog to automate deployments, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and manage infrastructure.

Incident Management and Troubleshooting:

• Monitor system health using CloudWatch and other tools, and promptly respond to incidents and alerts to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to diagnose and resolve pipeline issues to minimize disruptions.

Patch Management and Security:

• Apply security patches and updates to maintain the security posture of our infrastructure and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Database and Load Balancing Administration:

• Manage PostgreSQL and MySQL databases for data integrity, performance, and high availability.
• Configure and maintain Nginx and Asterisk PBX for efficient load balancing and reliable VoIP services.

Linux and Networking Expertise:

• Possess a strong foundational knowledge of Linux systems administration and networking concepts to troubleshoot and optimize infrastructure components.

Scripting and Automation:

• Utilize scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate routine tasks, streamline processes, and enhance operational efficiency.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Share knowledge and contribute to the development of best practices within the team.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role.
• Healthcare SAAS environment hosted on AWS is preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes certifications) are a plus.
• Proficiency in managing AWS services such as EC2, Lamda, Route53, VPC, SQS, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, Cognito, CloudFront, Fargate, ECS, and RDS (PostgreSQL and MySQL).
• Strong familiarity with DevOps tools including Nexus, Gitlab, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Service Catalog.
• Demonstrated experience in incident management, pipeline issue resolution, and patch management.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Linux systems administration and networking concepts.
• Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and task scripting.
• Excellent communication skills, facilitating collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

Compensation:

For positions filled in the United States, the typical salary range for this type of position is $95,000-$135,000 USD. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, job level, internal equity, and budget. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
