We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Pune.
Internally, this role will be called the Senior Interoperability Build Engineer and will be a hybrid role requiring three days a week in our office located in Amar Tech Park.
As a member of the Interoperability-Build function, the Senior Interoperability Build Engineer will be responsible for independently design, architecting and development of integration capabilities for Relatient’s SaaS offerings, including but not limited to Dash-Schedule, Dash-Engage and Dash-Chat. This includes integration capabilities with other Practice Management, Electronic Health Record systems; interoperability between Relatient’s offerings and development of tools enabling the success of other internal operations support teams.
Essential Functions:
- Builds resilient, secure, and scalable code using the latest technologies
- Performs engineering activities for performance tuning and deep monitoring of applications and services
- Writes clean, high-quality code by understanding the requirements from both Technical and Functional perspective
- Works with business partners, architects, and other groups to identify technical and functional needs of the system, determine the priority of work, and ensure integrated end-to-end design and delivery
- Mentors and guides the team members to follow best practices of Software Development as needed
- Leverages DevOps practices for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
- Collaborates with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
- Is responsible for all aspects of SDLC of existing and new components
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in a software engineering role using Java
- Experience with healthcare Integration using APIs/HL7/FHIR
- Experience with Practice Management / EHR Integration preferred
- Excellent knowledge of Java, Spring/Boot
- Sound understanding of OOP concepts, OOD
- Excellent understanding of data-structures, concurrency etc.
- Working knowledge of AWS, Docker, and git
- Previous experience building and working with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience giving and receiving code reviews is added advantage
- Previous experience building and consuming RESTful web APIs and any other third-party Integrations using Database/Flat files
- Experience with TDD and writing test harness around the code
- Knowledge of fixing bugs, designing and building enhancements
- Knowledge of unit testing and integration testing.
- Knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies
- Ability to work and thrive as part of a collaborative team
- Experience building software in a healthcare environment preferred
