We are currently looking for a Senior Manager, Infrastructure to join our team in Pune.
Essential Functions:
- Defines organization technology strategy and the appropriate application platform providing flexible and value-added services
- Participate in strategic and operational governance processes of the business organization. Drive corporate competitive advantage through the innovative application of technologies to achieve business strategy
- Provides visible leadership for the company within the technology community
- Establishes technical standards and processes that ensure adherence to product development and company operations
- Leads infrastructure and system integration efforts after an acquisition
- Ensures all technology deployments are properly implemented, integrated, and supported
- Works in a consultative fashion with other department heads as an advisor on technologies that may improve their efficiency and effectiveness
- Has an integral role in building a holistic view and roadmap of the company’s technology strategy, processes, and information technology roadmap. Educates organization departments on the value of the IT architecture to the business and their roles within it
- Develops operational goals and objectives that are aligned with the company’s goals and objectives
- Monitors departments performance to ensure goals and objectives are achieved or exceeded consistently
- Provides effective leadership to the team through prioritization based on visions/ goals, shared decision-making within understood boundaries, and fostering the entrepreneurial spirit in the team. Provides effective management of staff through timely, candid, and constructive feedback
- Responsible for maintaining abreast of and in compliance with all H.I.P.A.A. regulations and requirements. Treats all member information as confidential
- DevOps & Deployment Automation liaison with the Engineering teams
- Works closely with managers, project managers, and business partner leaders to define and develop or implement major software applications
- Oversees complex configuration of applications based on user and vendor requirements on major application environments
- Oversees efforts with key vendors to understand future infrastructure plans in conjunction with leadership.
- Evaluates AWS technology with cost benefits to the company
- Supports standardization of documentation for system maps
- Support the current and future communications platforms.
- Responsible for providing/setting direction on infrastructure architecture.
- Acts as a general internal consultant on system architecture design initiatives.
- Functions in a consultative role using advanced problem-solving and analytical skills to implement, upgrade and support complex application systems.
- Works with staff, business partners, and leadership to help them understand potential application functionality, development approaches, possible enhancements, and process improvements.
- Works with enterprise architecture teams to integrate application architecture into enterprise architecture.
Education & Experience Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree is required.
- 7 or more years of experience managing IT infrastructure and cloud environments required.
- 7 or more years of AWS experience in a mission-critical, production environment required.
- 2 years of experience managing a team of engineers is required.
- Previous Experience with Program Management, Health Care, Research OR Clinical
- Previous Experience with Vendor/Contract management and negotiations
- Managing, motivating, and mentoring staff
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment
