We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Pune. This role will be a hybrid position that works from our office in Amar Tech Park, 3 days per week.

Essential Functions:

• Supports software development processes via continuous integration delivery
• Continuously looks for ways to improve and streamline processes and procedures
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues in the development, test, and production environments 
• Acts as liaison between DevOps, Deployment Automation and Engineering Teams
• Acts as internal consultant on system architecture design initiatives
• Provides direction on infrastructure architecture
• Works closely with managers, project managers, and business partner leaders to define and develop or implement major software applications
• Works with staff, business partners, and leadership to help them understand potential application functionality, development approaches, enhancement options, and process improvements
• Works with enterprise architecture teams to integrate application architecture into enterprise architecture
• May occasionally be required to speak and present to internal or external clients for advocacy events 

Education & Experience Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or additional work experience in lieu of a degree is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture, design, development, delivery of distributed applications.
• 8 years of experience in IT preferred. 
• Demonstrated competency with the following AWS services: ECS, EKS,EC2,EBS,EFS,S3,Elastic Cache, Service Catalogue, API Gateway, RDS, VPC, Route53,ELB,ALB,IAM,CloudFront,CloudFormation,CloudWatch,SQS,SES and Lambda.
• Proficient in writing pipelines in Jenkins and Gitlab.
• Deep understanding of the Linux operating system and networking concepts.
• Experience building scalable infrastructure in AWS.
• Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines. 
• Expertise in leveraging Automation / DevOps principles, experience with operational tools - Ansible and Terraform.  
• Experience with scripting especially Shell, Groovy and Python.
• Experience architecting and operating systems built with Amazon Web Services.
• Experience with building, deploying and troubleshooting Docker containers.
• Must have experience in creation of VPN and good troubleshooting experience in Network. 
• Comfortable using strace/tcpdump in troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Python and Lambda.
• Advanced HAProxy, Nginx, SSH, Tomcat, PostgreSQL configuration and operation experience.
• Should be a Team Player and must be experienced in mentoring team members.
• AWS Certifications are preferred.
