The Ready Mix Sales Manager is responsible for managing and developing the sales of ready mix concrete products. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Ready Mix Sales Manager will work closely with the production, Dispatch and QC teams to ensure timely delivery and quality of products.
Essential Duties and Functions:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and profitability goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base and market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with the production, Dispatch and QC teams to ensure timely delivery and quality of products.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in industry events to promote the company's products and services.
  • Other assignments as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
  • Strong understanding of ready mix concrete products and their applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • 3 years of experience managing a a team of sales people.  
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • knowledge of Command software. 
  • This position may require travel to customer sites and industry events.
  • The role may involve working outside of regular business hours to meet customer needs.
