Welder - Second Shift

Welding Position
Shift Hours: 3:00pm -1:30am Mon.-Thur.
Starting Pay: Dependent on experience
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Read and interpret Welding drawings
• Follow work direction and training provided by higher level Welding personnel
• Perform Fit up assembly and Welding operations according to documented manufacturing procedures, such as Bill of Material (BOM), welding drawings and work instructions
• Self-inspect and evaluate the quality of products before forwarding to the next step in the fulfillment process
• Perform work at or above pre-established performance objectives
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Other duties deemed necessary to support the Company's business operations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to read and interpret Welding drawings, BOM's and associated procedures, including knowledge of weld symbols.
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to identify and communicate basic process improvements
• Possess a mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to frequently changing priorities/tasks
• Proven reliability -- attendance and punctuality
• Ability to use and set up latest MIG and Pulse welding machines.
• Ability to leak proof weld.
• Basic Welding and Assembly tools needed
Minimum Education and Experience Preferred:
•High School diploma or GED
•3-6 years Welding experience in MIG, TIG, or Pulse welding
