Scrum Master (TS/SCI with Polygraph)

A day in the life:
As the Scrum Master, you will join a team developing a series of applications that are certified, trusted sources of mission critical data that will be used to answer mission and leadership related questions. You will play a pivotal role in introducing emerging technology as part of this customer wide initiative, and it's successful implementation will significantly enhance day-to-day operations. You'll have the unique opportunity to shape this effort from it's inception, essentially building it from the ground up while engaging with stakeholders. With that, you will become one of the few subject matter experts for this new development effort.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Facilitate and lead agile development ceremonies, steering the agile development team towards effective collaboration and streamlined project progress.
- Act as the direct liaison between our Customer and the development team to establish priorities, facilitate agile processes, and communicate with team members, the Customer, and the end users.Prepare schedule inputs, communicate dependencies, impediments, and risks.
- Create systems engineering documentation including, but not limited to, requirements specifications and standard operating procedures.
- Provide constructive feedback to developers, emphasizing best practice.
- Brainstorm and contribute innovative ideas for code base optimizations and implementations, fostering continuous improvement within the development process.
- Incorporate comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and regression testing, to ensure the robustness and reliability of developed applications.
- Collaborate effectively within a team, providing valuable feedback to team members to drive continuous improvement.
- Technology Stack of application(s) with which this role will interact: JavaScript, TypeScript, Kubernetes, Docker, NodeJS, Rancher, Angular, Express, AWS, Git, Linux, Oracle, Selenium, Cypress, JIRA, Confluence
What you bring to the table:
- 7+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited institution. Five (5) additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated experience leading agile development ceremonies
- Experience developing and updating technical documentation
- An active TS/SCI with Polygraph level of security clearance
Bonus Skills:
- Proficiency with the Linux server environment
- Kubernetes infrastructure knowledge
- Experience managing systems hosted in virtual environments such as AWS
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Confluence & Jira
- Experience with testing methodologies (Selenium, Cypress)
The total package:
- Disclosed pay ranges are a general guideline, and are not a guarantee of a final salary or compensation. Our approach in determining final salaries takes into consideration a number of factors such as education, certifications, total years of relevant professional experience, actual level of expertise, and the responsibilities of the role itself.
- Based on the outlined roles, responsibilities, and requirements, the projected pay range for this position is: $125,000 - $175,000.
