Software Engineer (Multiple Levels - TS/SCI with Poly Required)

A day in the life:
As a Software Engineer on this mission critical contract, you will support work leveraging open-source technologies, AWS cloud compute, services and infrastructure and machine-learning to automate tasks and provide insight for the Department of Defense. You will join a tactical team of software, systems and reverse engineers on a program which employs innovative strategies and at-the-edge tradecraft to support the collection infrastructure of the client. You will have the opportunity and freedom to apply creative techniques to meet the objectives of data capture, processing, and storage optimization. You will work alongside systems engineers and full stack developers to develop a fully scalable enterprise solution which can support large streaming data sets and an optimized ETL workflow.
What you to bring to the table:
- Development experience with Scripting and/or OOPs languages - Bash, Python, Java, C++, Ruby, GoLang, R, etc.
- Development experience with web communication and data standards and structures - JSON, XML, ProtoBuf, Parquet, etc.
- Experience working with queries for structured and unstructured data repositories - SQL, DSL, etc.
- Working knowledge of network traffic, web protocols and standards - TCP/IP, HTTP, etc.
- Familiarity with industry best practices for Agile software development, automated testing, and continuous integration
- Experience in a similar work environment using the technologies described above.
- Any combination of the following acceptable criteria will be considered for work experience equivalence and evaluated on a case-by-case basis: Professional work experience history; Relevant technical certifications; Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field in technical/scientific discipline; Graduate degree in a related field or discipline; Doctorate in a related field or discipline
- An active US Government TS/SCI security clearance with a Polygraph
Bonus Skills:
- AWS Cloud development and infrastructure management
- DevOps strategies - e.g. Software development build automation, CI/CD pipelines, etc.
- Programming experience using Public Key Infrastructure security authentication

- Disclosed pay ranges are a general guideline, and are not a guarantee of a final salary or compensation. Our approach in determining final salaries takes into consideration a number of factors such as education, certifications, total years of relevant professional experience, actual level of expertise, and the responsibilities of the role itself.
- Based on the outlined roles, responsibilities, and requirements, the projected pay range for these positions are:
- Junior-level (0 - 7 yrs): $85,000 - $175,000
- Mid-level (7-14 yrs): $125,000 - $215,000
- Senior-level (14-20 yrs): $165,000 - $235,000
- Principal-level (20+ yrs): $175,000 - $250,000
