Systems Architect - Multiple Levels (TS/SCI with Poly required)

A day in the life:
As Systems Architect, you will support a mission critical program leveraging open-source technologies, AWS cloud compute, services and infrastructure and machine-learning to automate tasks and provide insight for the Department of Defense.
In this particular position, you will be placed in a challenging role to design and implement a suite of tools and capabilities which spans across multiple organizations and programs while being continuously aligned to the corporate mission objectives of knowledge management and collaboration. Some examples of these types of solutions include the proactive pushing of correlated and enriched data to the necessary parties as actionable insights so that preventive, predictive and reactive measures can be taken:
- Enterprise service endpoints for knowledge management and collaboration
- Drop-in web components as “common” components that will be standardized across the enterprise
- Curated collection of properly tagged datasets as a common vocabulary across the entire enterprise, etc.
These services and capabilities will build atop of existing enterprise architecture as both enhancements and augmentations to deliver greater mission value to all of the stakeholders through innovation and systems integration.
In addition to performing systems architecture design and implementation, you will have the opportunity to work closely with end users and stakeholders from a UX, Interaction Design, UI Development perspective to thereby promote thoughtful, intentional and intuitive interfaces. You will be an integral part of a high-performance team within a fast-paced environment in which one must quickly adapt to tactical and operational shifts. As such, the implemented solutions must be well-planned and thoroughly designed from the ground up to ensure scalability and support seamless integration to existing and future systems.
What you bring to the table:
- 7+ years of experience in a similar work environment as described above using the technologies below. Any combination of the following acceptable criteria will be considered for work experience equivalence: Professional work experience history; Relevant technical certifications; Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field in technical/scientific discipline; Graduate degree in a related field or discipline; Doctorate in a related field or discipline
- Programming experience with scripting and/or OOPs programming languages: Python, Java, GoLang, etc.
- Web programming experience with JavaScript/Typescript and related frameworks and technologies - Angular/React/Vue, HTML/CSS
- Experience working with “drop-in” web components - e.g. leveraging CORS (Cross-origin resource sharing)
- Programming experience with RDBMS technologies for structure/unstructured datasets
- Experience with API design for Service Oriented design patterns - i.e. REST
- Expertise in user experience design for user interfaces/visualizations
- Programming experience in designing applications to support Deep Linking
- Experience with containerization of runtimes using Docker/Kubernetes
- Familiarity with industry best practices for Agile software development, automated testing, and continuous integration
- An active US Government TS/SCI security clearance with a Polygraph

The total package:
- Disclosed pay ranges are a general guideline, and are not a guarantee of a final salary or compensation. Our approach in determining final salaries takes into consideration a number of factors such as education, certifications, total years of relevant professional experience, actual level of expertise, and the responsibilities of the role itself.
- Based on the outlined roles, responsibilities, and requirements, the projected pay range for these positions are: $155,000 - $225,000
