Position Title: Land Acquisition Analyst 
Department: Business Development 
Entity: EG Latam 
Location: Mexico City, Mexico 
Reports To: Business Development Manager 
 
REsponsabilities 
  • Prospect land areas suitable for the development of solar photovoltaic projects.
  • Conduct comprehensive research and gather necessary documentation related to land ownership and usage rights.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with rural property owners, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and project specifications.
  • Facilitate the signing of contracts, addendums, and other relevant documents with property owners.
  • Lead the due diligence processes on site, coordinating among the different stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between land acquisition activities and project development timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of land acquisition processes and documentation.
 
REQUIREMENTS 
  • Technical diploma or degree preferred, preferably in fields related to roads, transmission lines, environmental studies, geography, geoprocessing, or related disciplines.
  • Proficiency in GIS software, Data Processing, Google Earth, CAD, SIGEF System, SICAR, or similar tools.
  • Valid Driver's License (Habilitación B) required.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with rural property owners.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks related to land acquisition in Mexico is advantageous.
  • Ability to travel as required.
