Position Title: Land Acquisition Analyst
Department: Business Development
Entity: EG Latam
Location: Mexico City, Mexico
Reports To: Business Development Manager
REsponsabilities
- Prospect land areas suitable for the development of solar photovoltaic projects.
- Conduct comprehensive research and gather necessary documentation related to land ownership and usage rights.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with rural property owners, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and project specifications.
- Facilitate the signing of contracts, addendums, and other relevant documents with property owners.
- Lead the due diligence processes on site, coordinating among the different stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between land acquisition activities and project development timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of land acquisition processes and documentation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Technical diploma or degree preferred, preferably in fields related to roads, transmission lines, environmental studies, geography, geoprocessing, or related disciplines.
- Proficiency in GIS software, Data Processing, Google Earth, CAD, SIGEF System, SICAR, or similar tools.
- Valid Driver's License (Habilitación B) required.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with rural property owners.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks related to land acquisition in Mexico is advantageous.
- Ability to travel as required.
