We are looking for a O&M coordinator with a background in electrical/mechanical technology or engineering as it relates to utility renewable energy generation, with a focus on service and/ or maintenance experience. This person will be responsible to drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve overall systems efficiency that meet customer revenue expectations while minimizing downtime and maintaining O&M profitability.
The O&M Coordinator will work closely with O&M Field Technicians, O&M Engineers, Management, and support staff, as well as vendors, contractors, and asset owners.

Responsibilities
- Liaise with O&M vendors, all internal Recurrent Energy support departments including Accounting, Finance, Legal, Warehousing & Senior Management, as well as the O&M Field Technicians & Engineers, the Operations Control Centre, local utilities, and the asset owners.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules on utility scale solar farms with vendors, sub-contractors, O&M Technicians, and asset owners.
- Process Work Orders and all other documents related to workflow and record-keeping in the O&M department.
- Proficient at performing duties in the ERP system, as well as O&M`s proprietary Global Monitoring Platform System Review.
- Frequent use of Microsoft Office Suite and similar applications.
- Strong ability to perform administrative duties such as creating RFPs, Service Quotes, Purchase Requisitions, and processing Purchase Orders, as it relates to O&M part and service procurements.
- Coordinate solar farm property management activities including seasonal activities such as vegetation management and module washing by acquiring competitive bids for services.
- Understanding of O&M contracts and CSOM’s responsibilities to meet the contract requirements.
- Maintaining equipment-specific maintenance/ calibration schedules.
- Administration of the spare parts management system. Coordinate shipping of equipment and materials to various field locations and organize contractors for replacement work as required.
- Understanding of computer networks and communication systems.
- Strong focus on working with the O&M Technicians & Engineers to resolve all occurrences of lost generation from the solar farms.
- Maintain documentation including Work Orders, Work Instructions, drawings, OEM documentation, safety documentation, etc. as it relates to the solar facilities.
- Assist the O&M Field Technicians in maintaining site-specific Health & Safety processes.
- Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Canadian Solar Solution Code of Business Conduct.
- Adhere to all environmental, health and safety rules and company policies.
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Engineering Technologist/Technician diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline from a college or university.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant service or maintenance experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong work ethic, positive team attitude and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail is a necessity.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally with field staff, management, owners, and vendors.
- Demonstrated independent thinking, initiative, and creativity.
- Ability to function successfully both independently and within a team.
- Demonstrated professional appearance and conduct.
- Ability to work some flexible hours (evenings, weekends) as required.
- Valid Brazilian Driver`s license
- Occasional travel may be required.
