Job Title: HR/Admin Generalist
Reports to: HR/Admin Manager
Date: December 1st, 2023


Position Summary: Canadian Solar Projects K.K. is looking for a HR/Admin Generalist to assist HR/Admin Manager in daily HR/Admin operation. The individual is required to posse a good knowledge and experience of payroll operation including social insurance formalities and Health management. In administration roles, hospitality is also required.

Job responsibilities:
HR related:
- Payroll operation
- Social Insurance formalities
- Lead EHS activities to maintain the Health and Productivity Management Organization certificate (健康経営優良法人認定)
- Lead Health committee with industrial doctor. (衛生委員会)
- Recruiting process coordination and tracking record
- Manage temporary staff hiring and daily follow-up
- Support New hire onboarding processes
- Support company safety activities including emergency drill
- Support Training Planning and execution

- Maintain Employee database (The current SAPSF system is planned to be migrated to another system like Workday in the near future. )
Admin related:
- Office administration
- Company events

Support HR manager in other HR / Admin duties
Required to work in an ISO 9001, 14001 & OHSAS environment

Qualifications and Experience:
- Native Japanese speaker
- Japanese/English reading/writing ability
- Minimum 5 years HR/Admin experience in foreign capital Japanese companies with over 50 employees
- Must have Japanese labor law knowledge
- Class 2 Health Officer license holder is plus (衛生管理者2種)
- HR system knowledge is preferable (Workday)
- Good organizational/communication skills
- Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Office, Outlook and Teams are required

- Bachelor degree or above (bachelor from oversea university is a plus)
