The Record360 Business Development team is a high-velocity team of 
sales professionals focused on delivering best-in-class customer 
experiences. We focus on delivering solutions to challenges at a level of 
professionalism unmatched in our industry (and beyond).
 
Key Responsibilities
 
• Prospect and Generate Leads: Proactively identify and engage with 
potential customers through various channels (cold calling, email 
sequencing, LinkedIn, etc.).  Understand the customer's needs and 
assess fit with our software solution
• Deliver quality and tailored demonstrations to prospects based on 
the prospect’s challenges, causes and consequences
• Understand customer goals, plans, challenges, timelines, budgets, 
and authority
• Create accurate business value alignment between the prospect 
and Point of Rental Software’s solutions
• Close deals. Close Deals. Close Deals
• Meet or exceed monthly quotas
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with marketing, 
customer success, and product teams to ensure alignment on go-to-
market strategies and customer feedback
• Strive to continuously improve and demonstrate a willingness to 
learn and implement best practices
• Eloquently and professionally work with all stakeholders, including 
CEOs, CFOs, VP Finance and Accountants and ask intelligent 
questions
• Be polished and professional as well as self-motivated with the 
ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment with a sense 
of urgency and persistence
• Manage time precisely with a thirst for knowledge and a growth 
mindset
 
Key Skills
 
• 5-10 years experience within software sales
• Experience in selling to small-medium businesses and mid-market
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and goals
• Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly influencing and 
negotiation skills
• Excellent communication, planning, time management, 
prioritisation, and organisational skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter with a proactive approach to 
finding new business opportunities
• Strong numeric, written and verbal skills
• Experience in business processes and presentation skills
• Experience selling into the heavy equipment and vehicle hire 
industries (beneficial)
• Experience of SalesForce and Outreach (beneficial)
