Description

About Record360

We believe that every person deserves simple technology tools that just work. Our mission is to help businesses feel confident sharing high-value assets (i.e., equipment, trucks, cars) by providing them with simple tools to inspect, protect, and manage their fleets and build relationships of trust with their customers. We aspire to provide amazing experiences to our customers, build simple and impactful products, and become the best versions of our personal and professional selves. Our inspection platform is used by thousands of equipment, truck, and auto rental shops, and we’re growing fast.

Your Role

Over the past several years, we’ve built a successful product that customers love. Now, we’re entering the next phase of our product journey. We are part of a larger organization (Point of Rental Software), have ambitious growth goals, and have solidified an exciting and compelling 5-year vision. As a Product Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Record360’s core product, InspectPro. You’ll work closely with another PM, our engineering team, and support/CX/sales/marketing, and report to Record360’s Group PM. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning the product roadmap for InspectPro, Record360’s flagship product. Once ramped, you will be responsible for creating and planning for 6+ month roadmaps.
  • Collaborating with engineering to pitch roadmap candidates, providing quality product requirements for committed features, and making tradeoffs on scope to support the business overall.
  • Building new processes for collecting, prioritizing, and shaping product feedback from internal teams and customers.
  • Working with designers on upcoming products and features with a focus on best-in-class user experience, delicately balancing quality with engineering scope and release timelines.
  • Actively participating in sprint planning, triaging customer-reported support tickets, and setting product priorities.
  • Grooming the backlogs for the mobile and web apps, identifying product opportunities, and culling items that are not a priority for the business.

Qualifications We are Looking for

  • You have 2+ years of product management experience at a B2B SaaS company, preferably with a focus on both mobile and web apps.
  • You have experience writing detailed and actionable product requirements, informed by both quantitative and qualitative data, that communicate a clear “what” and “why” for an engineering team.
  • You have demonstrated ownership over a product from roadmap to GTM - you’re capable of and eager to both tell a compelling story and get into the weeds of the finest grain details.
  • You have a strong design sense, with experience creating design mocks, working in Figma, and collaborating closely with designers to meet product requirements.
  • You are well-rounded and thorough in your thinking, bringing confidence and humility, and using a combination of qualitative and quantitative data, judgment, and product sense. You have strong skills in Excel, SQL, and product analytics platforms.
  • You have the inclination and interpersonal skills to share your perspective and participate in a team where everyone is invited to take on leadership in their own way.

Our Hiring Approach

We value curious and growth-oriented mindsets and look for new team members who are interested in challenging themselves and sharing what they learn. We want to hire product managers who are driven by understanding customer problems at a system level, who have clear opinions about how we can do our best work, and yet are open to change. We look for people who have a sense of humor and humility, who can keep it light while we roll up our sleeves. Communication skills are a must. Our goal is for everyone to be able to show up as their full self and offer leadership in their own way.

Our interview process aims to give candidates an opportunity to shine, combining both written portions and in-person (Zoom) interviews. We respect your time and will not ask you to do any overly lengthy take-home assignments. We understand that you are also interviewing us, and will prioritize answering your questions along the way as well.
