What you will be working on:

The Senior Product Owner is responsible for defining and maintaining the vision of Salesforce-based applications. As a pivotal member of our team, the Senior Product Owner will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and our application development team, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions that align with strategic business objectives. Your expertise in Salesforce technology and your ability to understand and prioritize business needs will drive the success of our Salesforce initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, users, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into actionable user stories, and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for Salesforce applications, providing guidance on best practices, functionality, and capabilities to both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Define and communicate the product vision, goals, and objectives to the development team, ensuring alignment with business strategies and priorities.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines the planned enhancements, features, and releases for the Salesforce applications.
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and review sessions to ensure the development team's understanding of requirements and to make informed decisions on scope and priorities.
  • Continuously monitor project progress, anticipate and mitigate potential roadblocks, and ensure that project milestones are met within agreed timelines.
  • Make informed decisions regarding scope changes, trade-offs, and priorities based on a thorough understanding of business needs and technical constraints.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts, ensuring that developed solutions meet user expectations and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the user interface aligns with user needs and promotes a positive user experience.
  • Act as a champion for agile methodologies, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation within the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Salesforce technology and industry trends, and bring insights to drive innovation and optimization.


What is expected from you:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Senior Business Analyst, with a proven track record of successfully delivering Salesforce-based applications.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, including declarative customization, configuration, and integration options.
  • Prioritizing user needs and ensuring that the product aligns with user requirements and expectations is critical for delivering valuable solutions.
  • Expert in understanding, documenting and communicating complex business workflows.
  • Ability to manage and communicate changes effectively, both internally and externally, to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Proven experience in the delivery of software applications, including measuring product adoption, stakeholder engagement and product success
  • Proven experience working in agile development environments, with expertise in agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, are highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, including declarative customization, configuration, and integration options.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects, with a hands-on project management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), Certified Agile Product Owner (CAPO), Salesforce Certified Administrator.
  • Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field


What you will get in return:

  • The base salary for this role is in the range of $138,357 - $228,544.
  • You may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and an annual discretionary stock award, (dependent on date of hire) to be discussed during the initial phone interview. Base salary and total compensation package determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, education, skills, performance, and abilities, as well as internal equity, company performance, and alignment with market data.
