Account Representative, Grocery & Drug
Description
The Account Representative role will perform specific strategic and tactical job functions through cross-functional management of multiple internal departments and customer contacts.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Explicit dedication to company, account team and key retailers.
- Daily communication with Readerlink’s retail customer.
- Work closely with account management team and support others internal department to meet customer expectations.
- Primary liaison with Readerlink Distribution Centers to coordinate needed service/execution levels.
- Produce weekly and ad hoc sales and stock level information.
- Needs to be able to quickly assess a customer inquiry or account task, determine solution or information needed and own the process through completion and follow-up.
- Provides administrative/account support as needed.
- Proactively manages list of tasks and scheduling.
- Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines, and manage the needs of the DC’s, Inventory and account management team, and customer.
- Track customer fill rates as well as fines and manage on-time deliveries.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field is required.
- Strong to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
- Creative thinker with strong analytical skills
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively.
- Solid attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Team-oriented, hardworking, open-minded, and flexible.

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to create sales analysis reports and product presentations.
- Must be proficient in basic mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to do algebra, calculate figures and amounts, and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Must be able to analyze sales documents to identify trends and successful product performance.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving variables.
- The work performed is in an office environment.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Travel may be required.
