The diversity of these imprints allows PRPG to develop and expand on book industry trends in both the juvenile and adult book genres. ReaderLink headquarters is in Oak Brook, Illinois with its publishing headquarters in San Diego, California. We are currently recruiting for a D365 F&O Developer.

The D365 F&O Developer
will be creative and self-driven individual with excellent communication, organization, and technical skills to enhance and support the D365 F&O application for Readerlink Distribution Services. 

What You Will Be Doing: 

  • Perform detailed investigative work for potential projects. Analyze business requirements.  Produce design specifications and related documentation for software systems.
  • Maintain current knowledge of software and hardware products as they relate to the business of ReaderLink Distribution Services.
  • Transfer knowledge to other technical and business owners to promote professional growth within the company.
  • Work with the technical experts within vendor organizations to resolve problems as well as propose new, or changes to existing software systems.
  • Create end-user documentation and provide end-user training.
  • Respect confidentiality of company and personnel-related data and information.
  • Provide product support when required.
 
What You Will Need: 
  • Problem-solving – the individual identifies and resolves problems on time, gathers and analyzes information skillfully, and maintains confidentiality.

  • Dependability – the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve.
  • Application Development experience of minimum 2+ years in Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012) or 1+ year in D365 F&O or 2+ years in .Net platform.
  • 2+ years of experience in X++ or C#, Javascript, HTML, XML.
  • 2+ years of experience using SQL in application development and running stand-alone queries on databases like SQL Server, DB/2, or MySQL.
  • Working knowledge in developing and maintaining object-oriented applications.
  • Prefer experience in the Microsoft Azure cloud computing platform.
  • Prefer 2+ years of experience in developing Supply Chain or ERP applications.
  • 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel) are required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar working experience required.
  • Interpersonal skills – the individual maintains confidentiality, remains open to others’ ideas, and willingness to try new things.
  • Oral Communication – the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
  • Written Communication – the individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively, and can read and interpret written information.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate with the operations management team to influence positive continuous change in Reader Links’ supply chain.
