Are you passionate about growing and engaging audience through social media?  Are you up to the challenge of promoting books in the social media space?  The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for the production, execution and tracking of social media content and campaigns for all Printers Row Publishing Group imprints.


What You Will Be Doing: 

Social Media

  • Develop and post social media content across all designated social channels for PRPG imprints including Canelo U.S., Canterbury Classics, Dreamtivity, Portable Press, Silver Dolphin Press, Studio Fun International and Thunder Bay Press.
  • Coordinate all social activities with publicity and trade marketing plans.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with designated influencers, both for individual performance and targeted campaigns. 
  • Monitor and report influencer performance.
  • Understand, monitor and optimize all social media KPIs.  Develop and maintain social media monthly reporting.
  • Collaborate with designers or copywriters to provide attractive, engaging and informative campaigns.
  • Monitor and engage with all social media content and customer UGC.
  • Keep up with, research and document new technologies used in social media.
  • Track customer engagement and SEO to optimize campaign content.
  • Establish relationships/networks of industry professionals or influencers on social media.

What You Will Need:
  • College or University degree required.
  • High degree of organizational skills needed.
  • One to two (1-2) years in publicity, marketing or communications role.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills. Familiarity with publishing industry terms helpful. Should be able to draft reports and correspondence.
  • Advanced project management skills; ability to identify and assess issues and make decisions in a timely manner.
  • Interpersonal skills – the individual maintains confidentiality, remains open to others’ ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Suite.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest.
  • Familiarity with publicity CRM platforms: Cision or MuckRack.
  • Must be a self-starter.
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized.
  • Must possess analytical abilities.
  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Problem solving – the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully and maintains confidentiality.
