About the Opportunity
Rainbow Greenhouses is seeking a Business Process Manager to join our management team as lead of the Business Process Office (BPO). This role is responsible for leading strategic, cross-functional initiatives that drive operational excellence and support organizational growth.
In addition to supporting critical ‘business as usual’ functions, the Business Process Manager will lead continuous improvement projects across departments, focusing on process optimization, system implementation, SOP development, and change management. Working closely with Rainbow leadership, the successful candidate is ready and eager to drive success shoulder-to-shoulder with teammates at all levels of the company.

Success in this role requires a ‘get ‘er done’ mentality-someone ready to roll up their sleeves and jump in alongside peers to ensure BPO is an active contributor to success. This role is ideal for an experienced, highly organized, and analytical management professional with strong project leadership skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Business Process Office (BPO) Leadership
- Own and lead enterprise-wide improvement initiatives from concept through implementation, sustained adoption, and measurable outcomes
- Together with the GM and Rainbow leadership, translate organizational strategy into prioritized, high-impact cross-functional projects
- Establish clear project briefs, KPIs, timelines, and accountability structures to ensure delivery on scope, budget, and outcomes
- Oversee implementation of all BPO projects
- Serve as a trusted advisor to department leaders, proactively identifying operational gaps and scalable solutions
- Build, coach, and elevate a high-performing BPO team with strong change management and continuous improvement capability
- Ensure all initiatives and projects have clear scope and defined expectations
- Escalate project challenges to sponsors, leadership, or the GM as needed
- Work closely with the GM and Rainbow leadership to prioritize, allocate resources, and manage team capacity while ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
Business Process Optimization
- Lead standardization of core workflows to increase consistency, scalability, and operational resilience
- Support departments in the development, implementation, and continuous refinement of SOPs
- Oversee system and tool implementations in partnership with functional teams, ensuring strong adoption and integration
- Collaborate with teams to align technology, process, and people to maximize ROI on operational investments
Continuous Improvement & Data-Driven Decision Making
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement across all levels of the organization
- Use data to challenge assumptions, prioritize initiatives, and validate impact
- Identify opportunities for end-to-end process redesign to eliminate inefficiencies and improve throughput
- Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide actionable insights
- Support the development of company-wide change management capabilities
- Design and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and engagement activities to drive adoption
- Communicate clearly through updates, reports, and presentations
Must-Haves
- 10+ years of experience in management, operations, continuous improvement, or similar roles
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders
- Track record of aligning culture transformation with strategic growth and operational excellence
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience developing SOPs and supporting system/tool implementations from start to post-implementation adoption
Nice-to-Haves
- PMP certification (asset, not required)
- Experience in operations, manufacturing, agriculture, or multi-site environments
