About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Indoor Merchandiser to support Rainbow Greenhouses’ plant program within Home Depot stores. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, and taking pride in creating clean, organized, and attractive displays that help plants sell.
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Indoor Merchandiser to support Rainbow Greenhouses’ plant program within Home Depot stores. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, and taking pride in creating clean, organized, and attractive displays that help plants sell.
As an Indoor Merchandiser, you will be the face of Rainbow inside your assigned store. You will ensure our live goods look their best by providing consistent care, maintaining displays, and following company standards. Commitment to completing scheduled hours and showing up reliably is essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Merchandise and display live plants according to company guidelines
- Maintain plant health while minimizing shrink
- Rotate, cull, and organize product to ensure fresh, appealing presentation
- Build, restock, and tidy displays as new shipments arrive
- Keep the department clean, organized, and customer-ready
- Communicate effectively with store associates and your direct report
- Reports completed during store visits
- Follow all safety practices, especially when lifting or handling product
- Maintain a consistent schedule and reliably complete assigned hours
What You Bring
- Dependability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to completing scheduled shifts that may vary upon seasonal dependence
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and move products that can range in weight
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to high presentation standards
- Positive, professional communication
- Experience in merchandising or retail is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to problem-solve on the go and adapt to changing priorities
- Smart phone required, regular usage (emails, apps and phone)
- CSA-approved steel-toe shoes required for duration of shift
