Data and Business Analyst, Supply Chain

Responsible for researching/gathering, assembling, and analyzing complex data from multiple sources. Interprets and reports out to business partners and management within Supply Chain. Investigates issues to determine root cause in order to develop and implement continuous improvement and process efficiencies. Serves as a liaison to internal groups regarding Supply Chain processes.  May implement or manage relevant systems used in Procurement and Strategic Sourcing. Provide analytical support for ad-hoc analysis requests, tools, development, and process improvement. Analyzes performance metrics and develop action plans to mitigate ongoing issues or substandard results. Develops innovative approaches to address complex business problems and solutions. Proven ability understanding and interpreting multiple data structures and sources to provide data visualization, business intelligence, and data collection tasks.


Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong Computer Skills; Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Associated Analysis Tools
  • Excel PowerQuery & PowerPivot Data Modeling Experience is a plus.
  • Experience building complex queries against Oracle Table Schema preferred.
  • SQL Experience Required
  • Microsoft SQL Server Suite (SSIS, SSMS, & SSAS) Experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data modeling concepts & tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Sourcing and/or Procure-to-pay experience a plus
  • Business intelligence (OBIEE) experience a plus.


Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, engineering or other relevant field required. At the manager’s discretion, additional relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Minimum 3-5 years analytical experience, preferably in a Supply Chain role.
