Rackspace is looking for a Transformation Manager to join our team.   As a Transformation Manager, you will deliver business transformation outcomes for strategic cross-functional programs. The ideal candidate will manage multiple small to medium sized cross-functional programs to drive improvement in process metrics, targeted financial benefits, and achieve company goals. In this role you will work to strategically align the services and performance of the department with Rackspace goals, objectives and core values.

The ideal candidate is great at thinking analytically and strategically, while bringing creativity and experience to their work. In this role, you will manage many components of company-wide projects or programs from initiation through delivery, driving completion against set goals, objectives, and outcomes. Gather required data from end users to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope to define deliverables. Ensure that all targets and requirements are met and are completed on schedule and within budget.

In this role you will:

  • Manage multiple small to medium sized cross-functional programs to drive improvement in process metrics, targeted financial benefits, and achieve company goals.
  • Own change management throughout the life cycle of the programs and drives change control process post plan of record.
  • Be an experienced professional using best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues using program management to improve products or services for internal/external customers.
  • Partner with D+ leadership population, as well as external consultants, to support strategic initiatives, advise on change management processes, and communicate on business unit scale.
  • Establish program goals and objectives ensuring alignment with the Rackspace strategic plan.
  • Develop, modify, and execute best practices and programs that have company wide effect.
  • Manage cross-functional projects to drive improvement in process metrics, targeted financial benefits, and achieve company goals.
  • Solve complex problems and takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.
  • Identify and resolve unique situations of substantial significance in field of expertise or knowledge. 

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • 8+ years of overall experience with at least 3 years of working on projects at a company-impacting level.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, decision making and communications skills.
  • Must have leadership and strong follow-up skills.
  • Mastered understanding of the Rackspace project management methodology, project management systems and tools, and industry best practices for project management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical and financial details as well as ideas so others will understand.
  • Ability to make appropriate decisions considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions.
  • Ability to apply varying leadership skills and traits that create solutions and results to unexpected situations.
  • Ability to coach and motivate less experienced team members to achieve their goals.
  • Ability to establish a long-term vision and execute it.
  • Ability to successfully work and promote inclusiveness in small groups.
  • Invaluable skills in managing major projects that drive improvement in process metrics, targeted financial benefits, and achievement of company goals.
