PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

Provide leadership on business transformation projects and integration workstreams from initiation through delivery. Manages cross-functional projects to drive improvement in process metrics, targeted financial benefits, and achieve company goals. Partners with D+ leadership population, as well as external consultants, to support strategic initiatives, advise on change management processes and communicate on business unit scale.

JOB COMPLEXITY:

 

Manages large components of company-wide projects or programs from initiation through delivery driving completion against set goals, objectives, and outcomes. May own projects for large business units or teams. Gather required data from end users to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope to define deliverables. Ensure that all targets and requirements are met and are completed on schedule and within budget. Work closely with various internal departments to ensure successful completion of projects. Keep leadership informed of key issues that may impact project completion, budget, or other results. Establishes program goals and objectives ensuring alignment with the Rackspace strategic plan. Develops, modifies and executes best practices and programs that have company-wide effect.

Manages cross-functional projects to drive improvement in process metrics, targeted financial benefits, and achieve company goals. Uses specialized expertise in one or more areas to interpret internal or external business issues and recommends best practices.

Solves complex problems and takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. Decisions impact the achievement of customer, operational, program or service objectives. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field. Master’s degree a plus.
  • 12 or more years of experience in program management or project management with at least 5 years working on projects at a company impacting level.
