The primary purpose of the Operations Specialist is to enable our partners and partner sellers to successfully articulate the Rackspace value proposition and sell the Rackspace product portfolio. This person will be responsible for the management of the partner-facing portal. This person will provide guidance on the partner program to Rackers and partners. This person will also be responsible for providing analytics as needed on partner programs and partner-related information.    

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Maintain partner portal content by ensuring information is relevant and current.  
  • Help sales reps navigate the program and assist with onboarding/commissions questions for deals. 
  • Coordinate with internal product and marketing teams to collect, organize, and produce reporting for partners on SPIFFs and campaigns. 
  • Provide Rackspace partner network demos to new stakeholders.  
  • Coordinate with Rackspace Partner Account Managers to process new leads. 
  • Support and provide reporting of our partner application, All Clouds Guide. 
  • Gather partner payment forms, submit Oracle SNO tickets for the Procurement team to create Oracle Vendor ID, update SFDC with Oracle Vendor ID, and follow up on any outstanding payment form submissions. 

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: 

  • Ability to become proficient in manipulating data on Partner Relationship Management tool. 
  • Displays conceptual knowledge of theories and practices of business operations and learns how to execute on policy and procedures within the discipline. 
  • Ability to articulate Rackspace products, services, and strategy. Assist with the Partner Program and transformation efforts. 
  • Ability to provide analytics through Excel, and Salesforce and QlikView dashboards. 
  • Project management skills and experience desired. 
  • Ability to learn routine tasks and complete independently. 
  • Ability to follow standard practices and procedures in completing analysis or tasks.   

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Communications.  
  • Basic understanding of business administration and process. 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is a must. Excel skills must include experience in creating formulas, charts, and pivot tables.  
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.  
  • Experience with QlikView or Qlik Sense is a plus.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently. 
  • Ability to take direction and adapt to a fast-paced work environment. 
  • 0-2 years of experience in marketing or sales operations.
