Talent Sourcer/Recruiter

We are looking for an experienced Talent Sourcer to join our Talent Acquisition team and play a key role in enabling company revenue and growth by attracting Sales and Presales talent to Rackspace.  This role will be responsible for identifying top technical talent and developing a deep understanding of the talent market, sharing data and insights with our Recruiters and Leaders to help form our talent strategy. 

At Rackspace the key to our success is our people….. our Recruiters and Sourcers play a critical role.  This is a great opportunity for either an agency Recruiter who loves the sourcing part of their role and is keen to move in-house, or an established in-house Sourcer who wants to develop and hone their skills further within an organisation who has a high bar when hiring.

Key Accountabilities 

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Recruiters, Hiring Managers and Leaders to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility
  • Maximise all existing tools, and play a key role in identifying and developing new sourcing strategies to attract top talent
  • Proactively develop, grow and maintain a network of external prospects for current and future opportunities
  • Deeply understand requirements of the roles at Rackspace and how they fit into the organisation
  • Become an active member in varied discussions in order to immerse yourself in specific communities and develop a Rackspace presence
  • Develop a deep understanding of Rackspace and our culture and use this understanding to provide inspiring information to candidates about Rackspace, our business strategy and the opportunity
  • Conduct research to identify, evaluate and prioritise target companies and locations to headhunt from
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques and lead the way in industry best practices
  • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation in our recruitment system on all candidates, hiring manager’s interactions, and other recruiting activities
  • Proactively provide data and market insights to stakeholders and business leaders

Key Requirements

  • Extensive experience of sourcing with a focus on Sales and Solution Architecture/ Pre-Sales either in an in-house or agency environment
  • Creative approach to sourcing and ways to attract top quality candidates with the ability to present new sourcing concepts to stakeholders
  • Strong rapport and relationship building skills with the ability to effectively communicate and proactively keep others informed
  • The ability to influence key stakeholders with the courage to challenge and set expectations
  • Solution orientated, able to solve complex recruitment problems and challenges
  • A drive for results, able to manage a high-volume workload, with multiple different searches in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong use of initiative, thinks ahead and can think and act independently
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently provide FANATICAL support and put the customer first
  • Process and data orientated, understands the importance of data within a talent acquisition function
