Email and Marketing Automation Specialist

RelationEdge Digital Agency is looking for an Email & Marketing Automation Specialist to join our growing team! This person will assist consultants in developing marketing automation and email marketing strategies, and coordinate, produce, and execute those email marketing campaigns.


  • Execute email marketing and marketing automation campaigns for clients in a variety of industries, on a variety of platforms
  • Assist in discovery sessions with clients to outline current processes, and identify potential opportunities for growth and improved performance
  • Implement automation process flows outlining automation programs
  • Collaborate with platform-specific architects and engineers to evaluate strategies with the capabilities of each platform and scope of work for each project
  • Collaborate with content writers, developers, and graphic designers for the creation of content to support email campaigns
  • Create email and landing page templates that fit client branding guidelines
  • Complete monthly reporting and provide insight on performance
  • Research relevant best practices and new opportunities for email marketing and marketing automation strategies


  • 1-3 years of email marketing/marketing automation experience
  • Experience with one or more of the following platforms: Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget), Pardot, Hubspot, MailChimp, Marketo, Eloqua, Constant Contact, Klavio
  • Experience overseeing a marketing campaign from start to finish, delegating where appropriate
  • Knowledge of inbox deliverability, GDPR, CCPA and CAN-SPAM requirements
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS
  • Demonstrated commitment to delighting clients and coworkers by going above and beyond in producing high-quality work with attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational, analysis, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Deadline oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities
  • Understanding of how marketing automation and CRM platforms integrate and work together is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Pardot Certifications are a plus
  • Hubspot certifications - Hubspot Marketing Software Certification, Email Marketing Certification - are a plus
  • SEO knowledge or experience is a plus
