Description

We are seeking a bright, highly motivated, self-starter, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join the Rackspace Enterprise Acquisition team.  This position's primary responsibilities include responding to sales leads, developing qualified leads through targeted outbound calling and gaining commitments to work with the Enterprise Sales on Service engagements, or Proof of Values (POV). The person must have superior follow up skills, the ability to respond under pressure, work to a monthly target or Metrics and be able to effectively communicate over the phone, through email and face-to-face.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:   

  • Generating your own qualified leads
  • Provide relationships and networking
  • Responsible for following up on calls and feedback
  • Strong telephone etiquette with ability to build fast rapport in a high paced transactional environment
  • Responsible for full sales cycle from proactively generating lead to close
  • To be able to challenge customers on business needs and technical requirements working with Rackspace solution engineers
  • Engage with channel partners to find and develop new opportunities
  • Responsible for adhering to company security policies and procedure as directed

Experience:

  • Experience in a successful new business role, incorporating value/service selling to larger accounts (£500 Million turnover). C-level engagement
  • Professional Sales training and sales process knowledge
  • Sales experience in a hosting related industry preferred
  • Strong communication and written skills
