Description

Rackspace is hiring a full-time Senior Manager of Business Transformation for our team to play a key consultative role in providing ongoing best practices to clients by best translating clients' business processes to the Oracle and SAP Platform. The Senior Manager of Business Transformation will analyze and understand client's current business process, identify gaps, areas of opportunity, and design future state improvements through modeling techniques. Lead key accounts as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders as well as be responsible for business development and growth of overall account.

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager of Business Transformation identifies opportunities to leverage the Oracle / SAP platform to complement the client’s re-­engineered business processes and will be responsible for, but not be limited to the following:  

  • Grow and upsell business development opportunities to key accounts with a definable sales target
  • Lead and manage large and complex accounts from the standpoint of delivery
  • Lead discovery sessions using various methods including, but not limited to the following: interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, client on-site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and data analysis for business improvements
  • Assist in defining required features and mapping Oracle / SAP features to client business processes
  • Stay up-to-date on Oracle / SAP technology and common 3rd Party tools
  • Establish and build a rapport with clients throughout the project lifecycle to identify areas of future business
  • Manage anywhere from 5-20 team members on one project and ensure the success of the overall project(s)
  • Understand client's current business process, identify gaps, areas of opportunity, and design future state improvements through modeling techniques
  • Understand and be able to speak to Oracle/SAP BI Stack (Hyperion, etc)
  • Identify opportunities to leverage the Oracle / SAP platform to complement client’s re-­engineered business processes
  • Gather client needs/areas of improvement and translate them to business requirements with associated functional test cases; translate from business stakeholders to engineering team
  • Seek opportunities to rationalize, standardize, and automate business practices
  • Demonstrate strong listening, analytic, and process mindset
  • Lead discovery sessions with Executive Leadership teams and/or stakeholders
  • Increase productivity through the reduction of non-value added activities, standardization, and automation
  • Prepare deliverables including, but not limited to the following: Business Process Engineering reports, Requirements Matrices, Test Cases, Process Flow Charts, Gap Analysis Reports, and Business Process Roadmaps
  • Design customized solutions and execute the solution by leveraging Oracle/SAP and other toolsets
  • Collect, analyze, and reformat notes to be transcribed for Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Analyze client’s current business processes
  • Identify opportunities to leverage the Oracle / SAP platform to complement client’s re-engineered business processes
  • Act as a liaison between Client and Rackspace Technology team
  • Demonstrate understanding of business drivers and how they influence the Oracle / SAP design
  • Assist in defining required features and mapping Oracle / SAP features to client business processes
  • Manage task-level budget/scope to ensure client success and project profitability; tactfully work with clients to address out of scope requests and use client account manager to re-align expectations or seek additional scope/budget
  • Be able to logically present deliverables that provide recommendations to clients not only on Word or PPT but face-to-face with clients
  • Pre-sales responsibilities will include the ability to listen and gather requirements as well as provide input to SOWs and/or client discovery sessions/sales meeting
  • Take a consultative approach to provide ongoing best practices to clients by best translating clients' business processes to the Oracle / SAP.com platform
  • Act as an Engagement Manager on large scale and/or complex projects

Required Skills & Experience

  • First and foremost, a passion for Oracle / SAP and helping businesses succeed is a must!
  • 10+ years of Management Consulting experience
  • Engagement and/or Program Manager background
  • 5-7 years' exposure/experience in technology
  • May proven ability to lead SDLC processes
  • Must be able to lead engagements with multiple work streams
  • Internally leading engagements or being a stakeholder for projects that are $1MM plus
  • Leading projects or engagements or teams with more than  5 plus people
  • Excellent client facing skills
  • Strong client deliverable skills, specifically PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a plus
