Data Integrity Specialist

As a supportive member of the Operations group, the Data Integrity Specialist (internal title- Family Codes Production Specialist) member will have the opportunity to gain insight into the growing industry of online promotions. This role will work with multiple teams to launch coupon offers and associate item UPC information to offers based on the promotion details. Additionally, the role will be responsible for updating and maintaining the retailer database. Other daily tasks include troubleshooting barcode issues and advising on offer best-practices. Training will be provided.

Essential Job Functions (not limited to):

  • Provide Production Team/Family Code Services team support by:
    • Interpreting coupon offers and associating Product UPCs accordingly
    • Working with manufacturers and retailers to identify and troubleshoot offer issues
    • Collaborates with team to resolve barcode questions and provides best practices
    • Decodes retailer descriptions to include the brand, sub-brands, and description information
    • Formatting Excel files and processing data uploads into the database - data cleansing and structuring using macros and/or necessary functions
    • Updating and maintaining coupon family codes information in the Retailer Family Code Database
  • Assist Client Success Managers in fulfillment of purchased services such as:
    • Creation and/or optimization of Ads, Coupons, Digital Circulars, and Sales/Marketing promotional materials
    • Respond to new or re-opened requests and escalations in a timely fashion
    • Act as point of contact for the assigned programs – manage all communications and deliverables


Technical & Job level skills needed:

  • BA or 1+ year(s) of related work experience in data entry, CPG, or grocery retailer position
  • Must be detail oriented as most data is based in numerical formats
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills – particular focus on Excel for exact precision in data input & output (data processing and database management)
  • Proficiency in work communication & internal social networking tools (e.g., IM platforms, e-Mail, WebEx, Salesforce Chatter and common conference call utilities)
  • Outstanding ability to multi-task while operating in an environment of frequently changing priorities
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders on system and process issues to come up with resolutions
  • Superior problem solving skills
