Position Summary

The Media Account Manager will be responsible for providing expertise in developing and managing media campaigns and will collaborate with interdepartmental teams to oversee the day-to-day relationships with our clients and agencies. The Media Account Manager will act as the primary point of contact for their clients’ media campaigns, work in partnership with our Media Sales team and clients to provide solutions and drive strategic media campaign results, and collaborate with our Promotions Account Managers and Ad Operations team to ensure smooth execution of coupon enabled media programs. Media Account Managers must be experts in Quotient’s media products and be obsessed with delighting our clients.  Media Account Managers are expected to provide the highest level of post-sale support focused on driving client KPIs.  Successful candidates will possess all the attributes associated with operational excellence and dedication to outstanding account management.  Most importantly, they will have the drive to be an expert in the rapidly evolving digital media industry.

Position Responsibilities

Must master all operational aspects of Quotient’s media campaign launches, including, but not limited to: knowledge of our ad server (DFP), DSP, FBM, Quotient’s products and solutions, customer experience optimization and business analysis

Take a proactive approach to account and relationship management with the goal of providing superior customer experience and flawless campaign execution

Lead the Media Ops relationship with assigned clients and their agency partners; this includes owning post-sale operations support and acting as the main point of contact for servicing clients and resolving client issues in a timely manner; must understand client strategy and be able to articulate Quotient’s media positioning within that strategy and ensure agreed upon deal is successful by consulting with clients on their business objectives and providing solutions to meet those objectives 

Coordinate with the Ad Operations, Media Planning, Promotion and Design teams to ensure on-time campaign launches and optimization; provide final quality review for all trafficked products and reporting; monitor campaign performance across clients and work with Ad Operations to set up and manage campaigns correctly

Maintain relationships with the Media Sales team to ensure timely, accurate and prompt account updates and campaign analysis; provide support through the sales process by being available and an active participant in client meetings

Proven proficiency in client and account management is essential.  Candidate must be highly organized, adept at dealing with clients, and knowledgeable of Quotient’s media solutions, as well as industry trends

Monitor online media campaign performance and ensure clear communication throughout the online marketing program to help clients achieve campaign objectives; this encompasses ownership of campaign data analytics which includes the ability to understand/analyze the data and make recommendations to both internal and external audience

Provide first tier troubleshooting for post-campaign launch escalations, as well as serve as subject matter expert in all media topics and tools and contribute your expertise/knowledge to the promotions/media team

Participate in system, tool, and process improvements

Position Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business, communications, marketing or related field (and/or equivalent, relevant work experience)

Minimum of 2-4 years of digital media experience and/or experience working with ad or mobile networks; experience working with media agencies a plus

Experience with DoubleClick, MediaMath, Facebook Business Manager, 3rdParty Ad Tags or similar ad serving solution(s); comfort engaging in new technologies

Familiar with creative formats (HTML5, 3rd party tags, rich media, JavaScript) and ability to troubleshoot creative issues

Strong experience working in Word, Excel, Power Point and internet browser tools required

Familiarity with Salesforce.com a plus
