About the role

Join our dynamic Operations Excellence team as an Operations Process Specialist, dedicated to supporting our Business Process Engineers in optimizing critical business processes.  In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the efficiency and quality of our operations through tasks such as business process mapping, chairside observations, time studies, and researching new process improvement ideas. Location: This position is located at our Dublin, OH campus.

What you’ll do (Essential Responsibilities)

Business Process Mapping & Documentation, and UAT: Collaborate with Business Process Engineers to map and document existing processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization. Maintain detailed records of process mapping, chairside observations, and time studies, ensuring accurate and organized documentation. Assist BPE in testing new technology before releasing front lines.

Time Studies & Chairside Observations: Conduct chairside observations to gather real-time data on processes, including interactions with members and providers. Analyze the time taken for various procedures, providing data-driven insights to enhance efficiency and the member/provider/warrior experience.

Discovery Work: Research and gather data on operations process improvement ideas, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for potential process enhancements.

Collaboration & Reporting: Create reports and presentations summarizing findings, recommendations, and progress on process improvement initiatives. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including pod ops leadership, product owners, and IT, to implement process improvements.

What you’ll bring (Qualifications)

Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field or 2-3 years of related experience.

Experience: 6 months experience in a Quantum Health Pod support role such as Clinical Support Coordinator or Claims Specialist.

Previous experience in healthcare or process improvement is a plus but not required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

A passion for healthcare and a commitment to improving patient care.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
