About the role
The Sr. Commercial Enablement Specialist serves as the operational bridge between Business Development, Sales Operations, and Marketing. This role owns the day-to-day administration, training, and optimization of key outbound and prospecting tools while supporting messaging execution and lead workflow integrity.
This position ensures tools are used effectively, outbound messaging is aligned with Marketing campaigns and collateral, MQLs are properly supported through the assignment process, and sales teams receive tactical operational assistance for lightweight system and workflow needs.
This role is execution-focused and plays a critical part in turning marketing initiatives into usable BD and sales outreach.
Location: This position may be remote, with significant business travel to and from prospect/client sites and/or the Quantum Health home office in Dublin, OH.
What you’ll do (Essential Responsibilities)
Tool Ownership & Training
- Serve as the internal expert and enablement lead for core prospecting and outreach tools.
- Own administration, governance, and best practices for:
- Outreach.io
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- BenefitFlow
- Zoominfo
- Other sales tools that may be added
- Maintain tool usage standards and workflow consistency.
- Deliver onboarding and ongoing training for BD and Sales teams.
- Partner with Sales Operations on tool enhancements and process updates.
- Ensure consistent and effective tool adoption across teams.
Marketing Liaison & Messaging Enablement
- Act as the primary liaison between Marketing and Business Development to translate campaigns into executable outreach.
- Partner with Marketing to convert campaign messaging and collateral into BD-ready email templates, sequences, and outreach frameworks.
- Maintain a curated email copy and messaging library aligned to current campaigns, value propositions, and brand standards.
- Ensure outbound messaging reflects the latest Marketing positioning and content releases.
- Support the execution of marketing-driven initiatives (webinars, conferences, events, content campaigns) by building or coordinating related Outreach sequences.
- Help BD and Sales teams build compliant, effective sequences for sales-led initiatives using approved marketing messaging.
Lead Flow & MQL Support
- Help maintain smooth execution of inbound lead workflows in close coordination with Marketing.
- Serve as a liaison with Marketing on MQL flow, quality, and conversion performance.
- Support review, routing, and assignment of MQLs in alignment with established SLAs.
- Monitor follow-up compliance and surface gaps in response or documentation.
- Identify and flag lead flow issues related to routing, ownership, or follow-up timing.
- Provide structured feedback to Marketing on MQL quality and engagement trends.
Sales Operations Support (Tactical)
- Provide hands-on operational support for day-to-day sales team needs.
- Assist with list pulls, campaign uploads, and basic tool-related requests.
- Help sales reps navigate Outreach and Sales Navigator workflows.
- Maintain documentation and “how-to” resources for outreach tools and processes.
- Identify recurring operational friction points and partner with Sales Operations on improvements.
- Reinforce adherence to established processes and usage standards.
Process Documentation & Workflow Clarity
- Own documentation that ensures consistency, scalability, and clarity across BD and Sales workflows.
- Create and maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for the Sales Org.
- Ensure documentation is easily accessible and regularly updated.
- Translate evolving processes into simple, repeatable guidelines for BD, CR, and Sales teams.
- Partner with Sales Operations to ensure documentation reflects current systems and policies.
- All other duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring (Qualifications)
Experience:
- 5–8 years of experience in Sales Enablement, Sales Operations, Business Development Operations, or a related commercial support function.
- Proven track record as an individual contributor owning tools, workflows, and enablement processes with minimal oversight.
- Hands-on experience administering and supporting outbound and prospecting tools such as Outreach.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
- Experience partnering closely with Marketing to translate campaign messaging and collateral into executable sales and business development outreach (email templates, sequences, and follow-up frameworks).
- Demonstrated experience supporting Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) workflows, including routing, SLA adherence, and coordination between Marketing and Business Development teams.
- Strong written communication skills, with experience creating curated email copy, templates, and enablement content for sales and BD teams.
- Experience creating and maintaining process documentation, playbooks, or how-to guides that support consistency and scalability.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple workflows, tools, and priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable training peers and acting as a trusted subject matter expert without formal people management responsibilities.
- Experience working in a complex B2B environment (healthcare, SaaS, enterprise, or similarly regulated industries preferred).
