Principal Program Manager

Sales Remote, United States

Description

Who we are

Founded in 1999, Quantum Health is a privately-owned, independent healthcare navigation organization. As the company that invented healthcare navigation, Quantum Health continues to set the standard and, in 2025, acquired the leading healthcare technology company, Embold Health. This further strengthens the AI and provider search capabilities, guiding members to the right care. Together, the teams lead the industry in healthcare navigation, simplifying care journeys, improving outcomes, and controlling rising costs for organizations of all sizes. This role supports the Embold Health division.

We’re committed to building diverse and inclusive teams across our organization, so if you’re excited about this position, we encourage you to apply – even if your experience doesn’t match every requirement.

About the role

We’re looking for a highly strategic, execution oriented Principal Program Manager to partner with the SVP of our Health Plan Business. In this role, you will serve as the operational architect behind our health plan portfolio—including Embold Edge, our emerging alternative health plan product. You will drive cross-functional alignment, ensure disciplined execution, and act as a trusted proxy for the SVP across the business.

This is a high impact  role for a systems thinker who thrives at the center of Product, Engineering, Finance, Actuarial, and GTM.

Location: This position may work remotely anywhere in the United States of America.

What you’ll do (Essential Responsibilities)

Lead the integrated operating rhythm across the Health Plan business (OKRs, QBRs, roadmap reviews, leadership syncs).

Own and maintain the master cross functional  roadmap spanning GTM, Product, Engineering, and Actuarial.

Identify risks, dependencies, and cross-team friction points to keep execution on track.

Serve as a connective bridge across “Build” (Product/Engineering), “Sell” (GTM), and “Financial/Risk” (Actuarial/Finance).

Represent the SVP internally for Tier 2 decisions, unblock teams, and maintain alignment.

Synthesize data and updates into a unified, executive-ready “Single Version of the Truth.”

Lead special initiatives such as market expansions, regulatory response workstreams, and operational redesigns.

All other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring (Qualifications)

Experience: 10+ years of experience across Business Operations, Program Management, Strategy, or related roles.

Deep familiarity with the health plan / payer ecosystem (MLR, PMPM, Risk Adjustment, regulatory cycles, P&L levers).

Experience operating in a high-growth, matrixed environment where alignment and prioritization are essential.

Strong understanding of Agile delivery, engineering capacity planning, and product lifecycle management.

High quantitative and analytical literacy—comfortable engaging with financial models and risk assumptions.

Executive presence with the ability to influence VPs/Directors without formal authority.

Mastery of operating tools such as Jira/Confluence, Asana/Smartsheet, and Salesforce.

Who You Are

A strategic operator who sees across the system and connects the dots.

A disciplined program leader who drives clarity, accountability, and predictable execution.

A translator who can seamlessly navigate Product, Engineering, Finance, and Actuarial conversations.

A calm, trusted partner who can triage issues, resolve conflict, and keep the organization focused on what matters.
