About the role

The Sr Business Systems Manager has responsibility for managing Quantum’s Salesforce platform, which includes Sales & Service Cloud and CPQ, and its Finance systems, which include Sage Intacct, Workday Adaptive, Alteryx, IronClad, Workday Procurement and other support tools.  The Manager will work closely with Functional Leaders, end users and Information Technology leaders to ensure these corporate systems align with and integrate where necessary, with each other and the company’s broader technology deployed for operations.  Responsibilities will include ensuring systems meet users’ needs, have appropriate controls to ensure reliance on data output and are scalable for company growth.

Location: This position can be remote or hybrid based at our Dublin, OH campus.

What you’ll do (Essential Responsibilities)

Develop strategy and positioning of the Salesforce platform for use by Sales, CEG, Marketing and Operations.  Continual evaluation of business needs against platform functionality.

Build and maintain strategy around Finance systems, working closely with functional leaders to ensure deployed technology meets user needs.  Assist functional leaders in exploring new technology to support the growing business (i.e. Gen AI, Data Analytics and Finance Processing tools).

Coordinate with the IT team to integrate Salesforce and Financial data with other IT managed platforms/data warehouses as required by the business’s initiatives.  Ensure data security meets company standards and support SOC II and financial audits as needed.

Manage ongoing system administration (maintaining user roles, security settings, profiles, work-flow rules and data integrity).  Monitor and resolve issues/bug fixes.

Oversee documentation and maintenance of internal controls for key data points and processes within the assigned systems. Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and training materials for users

Develop and maintain relationship with vendor account representatives and related product representatives (i.e. Salesforce, Adaptive, Sage Intacct, IronClad, etc.)

Lead and manage Salesforce and Finance administration staff in support of above functions. 

All other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring (Qualifications)

Education: Bachelor’s or associate degree with preferred major in Business or Information Technology.

Licensure/Certifications: Salesforce SalesCoud and CPQ certifications required

Experience: 7-10 years of strong technical and functional experience with Salesforce

Experience supporting Finance systems is preferred, but not required (see list of systems below)

Subject Matter Expert (SME) on operations/processes/configuration of Salesforce

Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional relationship management and intrapersonal communication skills

Desire to develop, lead and manage team of internal Salesforce and Finance system administration staff
