As a Project Manager in the Planning and Execution department, you will be a member of a small team that works closely with leadership on critical strategic initiatives. You will be entrusted to research, lead and drive projects that have strategic importance to our mission of helping people navigate their healthcare journey as well as helping the organization achieve growth goals.  If you are looking for an opportunity to lead projects that directly impact corporate strategy, have a positive impact on the well-being of others and enjoy a challenging, fast-paced and collaborative culture, this is the right role for you.

What you’ll do 

  • Project Management:
    • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define scope, milestones, dependencies, resources
    • Create and manage project schedules and plans
    • Day-to-day project management execution
    • Manage all project artifacts including RAID Log, RACI, budget, communication plan and status reports
    • Prioritize and elevate category critical issues to managers and leadership as required
  • Problem Solving/ Critical Thinking
    • Identify and analyze complex cross-functional issues using data
    • Solve problems autonomously or with little guidance
    • Use data to show/ tell a story and problem solve
    • Assist in mapping out existing processes and then performing gap analysis against industry defined best practices
    • Assist SMEs in documenting revised processes
  • Communication and Reporting:
    • Manage end-to-end communication plan
    • Work with internal partners to identify and understand all impacted teams
    • Prepare and document project team meetings, status reports, RAID logs, kickoff, assessments, etc.
    • Provide timing updates on the project status, health, etc.
    • Provide clear, concise updates across all levels or leadership
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and influence enterprise-wide project teams
    • Gain alignment and execution through influencer model
    • Act as a thought partner across organization
    • Share feedback across project team
  • All other duties as assigned. 

What you’ll bring 

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in business or healthcare industry related study preferred (e.g. MBA, MHA, etc.)
  • 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager, leading large and complex projects
  • Experience with capital raises, recapitalizations, M&A and/or public offerings a plus
  • Ability to identify and solve complex problems using data and modeling and efficiently communicate them with project teams
  • Experience managing cross functional projects
  • Experience mapping and improving business processes
  • Experience leading business programs and planning initiatives
  • Experience in forecasting, budgeting, and operational planning
  • Excellent written and oral communications, organizational, analytical, problem solving, leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to multi-task with excellent organization and prioritization skills to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Capable of organizing information succinctly and clearly communicating to all level of the organization
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Proficient in, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Lifelong learner; thrives form developing and sharing knowledge

  • Strong administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom), and telephones efficiently.
