Job Description 

As an IT system Administrator with 6-8 years of experience, you will be responsible for ensuring that corporate hardware and software work efficiently, without disruption, and are up-to-day.  You will analyze, review, and develop scripts to automate and improve the IT operation task.  You will be the escalation support staff and user to resolve complex issues in a timely manner.  You will be a self-starter, a quick learner, and become an expert in Qualys’ IT environment.  You are a team player, a collaborator, and a resolver of complex issues. 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring 100% uptime of highly available and scalable IT infrastructure.
• Identifying and implementing advanced IT infrastructure solutions (On-Premise & Cloud Platform). Assist in designing/architect hybrid cloud solutions.
• Drive the implementation of global IT projects to completion. You will be responsible for multiple projects at any given time.
• Maintain MECM/SCCM Environment
• Maintain and upgrade existing on-premise physical/virtual servers ( Windows 2012/2016 backend on VMWare virtual infrastructure).
• Perform regular system patching, updates, and audits to ensure system integrity.
• Perform monitoring and tuning of systems to achieve optimum performance levels.
• Administer Windows Active Directory and related services (DNS, DHCP, NPS, File/Print, GPO, WSUS, etc.).
• Administer a wide array of SaaS applications including (but not limited to): Google Apps, O365, One drive, SharePoint, Okta, Confer, Proofpoint, WebEx, Concur, Coupa, Docusign, etc.
• Hands-on experience with O365 administration and other messaging systems
• Participate in security operations including incident response and remediation.
• Provide root cause analysis for problem management process with an eye on corrective actions for improvement.
• Maintain and enhance automation via scripting.
• Contribute to updating and building SoPs for consistency in IT operations.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call process on a rotation basis as and when required
• Development/Enhancement of high availability flexible IT solutions to support business continuity
• Schedule and execute the backup jobs for IT infrastructure services.
• Design, implement, and maintain monitoring solutions for an IT infrastructure.
• Linux knowledge is a plus
• Network knowledge (routing and switching) is a plus

Qualifications:

• 6+ years experience in a systems administrator role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or other related fields.
• 4+ years experience in Windows AD, Vmware, AWS, and Azure platforms.
• 2+ years’ experience in O365 administration
• Experience researching, migrating, and deploying various SaaS/IaaS/PaaS Services.
• Ability to independently work and contribute to projects as a team member
• Hands-on experience in Scripting / Automation.  PowerShell experience would be added to the plus.
• Strong collaboration skills and working independently are both essential.
• Should be a self-starting individual with high ownership and accountability
• Must have exceptional verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills. Presentation skills would be added advantage.
• Professional certifications will be an added advantage. (Microsoft/AWS/O365)
