Responsibilities

• Expert in coding and debugging JavaScript
• Creating and updating responsive web pages and HTML emails that look good both on desktop and mobile devices
• Primarily make updates to qualys.com but also make updates to sister websites
• Using git version control to track code changes
• Debug website and email issues using tools such as browser inspectors
• Edit images in Photoshop and/or Sketch
• Apply web development best practices, e.g. image optimization, coding techniques, etc.
• Communicate clearly (written and verbal)
• Have a high attention to detail
• Be a team player

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience building pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• (Bonus) React experience
• (Bonus) Experience with Handlebars JS or equivalent, Litmus, Asana, Google Analytics, Sourcetree, WordPress, PHP
• (Bonus) Experience with website animation, e.g. CSS transitions, JavaScript animation, Greensock JavaScript animation library (Bonus)
• (Bonus) Good sense of web page layout and design
• (Bonus) WordPress experience and/or PHP
