Senior Manager, Tax

  • Report to and support the US headquarter tax team in global tax reporting and compliance
  • Manage international income tax provision and income tax compliance process.  Specific duties include overseeing data collection, coordinating with outside tax service provider, liaising with various departments, and analyze local GAAP/tax adjustments[
  • Perform quarterly reconciliation on current income tax payable and deferred tax assets/liabilities accounts for all international subsidiaries
  • Review international income tax returns and analyze tax provision to tax return variances
  • Prepare quarterly estimated income tax payments for all international subsidiaries
  • Point of contact for international income tax inquiries
  • Assist with indirect tax compliance (VAT, GST, etc.)
  • Provide support for income tax audits including responding to information requests and interfacing with tax auditors
  • Respond to income tax notices and other income tax correspondences
  • Assist in maintaining income tax related Sarbanes Oxley 404 documentation
  • Assist in identifying tax opportunities and mitigating tax risks
  • Assist in identifying and implementing tax function process improvements
  • Conduct research and analysis on tax matters as necessary and properly document conclusions
  • Work with outside tax service providers located around the globe
  • Other special projects as they arise



  • 8+ years of professional experience in a corporate tax department and/or a global accounting firm
  • Experience with a multi-national software product or SaaS company preferred
  • Degree in accounting or finance
  • Demonstrate technical strength and knowledge related to international income tax accounting, purchase accounting, intercompany transactions and stock-based compensation accounting
  • Ability to recognize, understand, and analyze complex issues
  • Self-starter with strong accounting, analytical, creative problem-solving and project management skills
  • Must be well-organized, hands on, and detail oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with other departments
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Proficient computer skills including strong working knowledge of Excel and NetSuite/Oracle systems
