Qualys is looking for a passionate, experienced, team leader who can help us grow our small-business segment. The individual will mentor Qualys sales team in our Raleigh NC office, and be responsible for both new-logo pre-sales activities as well as post-sales customer success, account management and growth. The individual will also be the local leader for Qualys’ office in Raleigh, North Carolina, will be closely involved recruiting and hiring, and in ensuring that we have a strong, enthusiastic, and customer focused team.
The position will report to the Global VP and GM of Mid-Market and Small Business.
Ideal candidate will have experience building and running a technical high-velocity sales organization or customer success organization.
Candidate must be committed to growing and mentoring technical account managers who are young in their career.
Candidate must have experience in recruiting and hiring security-minded technical professionals with 0-4 years of sales, customer success, or technical support experience.
Customer success experience in an enterprise software environment, as well as overall SaaS experience would be ideal.
General knowledge of current IT security fields including Firewall, IPS/IDS, Vulnerability Management, Network Scanners, PCI, Policy Compliance/GRC-IT and Audit Tools , other enterprise security solutions.
Knowledge in variety of Federal Regulatory Compliance issues a plus: HIPAA, GLBA, Sarbanes Oxley SOX, FISMA , SCAP etc.
Knowledge of Auditing Frameworks a plus: CIS, NIST, CobiT, ISO27001, ITIL, NERC-CIP etc.
Must possess an excellent work ethic with a ”make it happen” attitude, and the ability to motivate and encourage a rapidly growing team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Most work will be in the Raleigh, NC region, but as soon as travel can resume safely some travel to company events and trade shows will be required.
