Email Marketing Specialist

Job Responsibilities
- Work in US Pacific Time zone hours to support North America marketing team
- Design, proof, and implement branded email content for individual and mass communications with various divisions, departments, and internal stakeholders
- Plan, implement, and launch campaigns to support lead generation initiatives
- Build and execute lead nurture campaigns and email automation workflows to drive performance metrics through the funnel
- Expert level experience building smart lists and segmentations
- Maintain content, data, and journey development within Marketo
- Create email copy based on directives from internal stakeholders
- Develop timely and recurring reports regarding email campaigns by working with internal stakeholders to determine key metrics, and delivery
- Oversee process development for the creation and delivery of internal email templates
- Collaborate with Marketing team members to facilitate email development projects including sourcing content, graphic design, and web-related development
- Maintain compliance and review standards as they apply to company email/website and ensures proper approvals are received on public communications and advertisements
- Perform other duties as required and assigned
Required Experience:
- 2+ years of demand generation, preferably in SaaS software and/or B2B market
- Marketo certification required
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications or related subject required
- Ability to clearly articulate and express ideas; must possess strong corporate writing and grammar copy editing capabilities
- Salesforce CRM experience required
- Highly computer literate and proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required
- Experience developing, designing and launching email campaigns
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SQL
- Strong understanding of reporting metrics as they apply to email
- Experience testing, and developing solutions for email communication across various ESPs
- Knowledge of email best practices
- Exceptional communication and project management abilities, to manage complex and competing priorities
- Ability to adhere to compliance procedures for review and approval
- Strong QA capabilities, ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Excellent interpersonal skills, professional presentation skills, demeanor and ability to interact with all organizational levels
- Ability to work independently and partner effectively within and outside of the immediate team to achieve desired business results
