Senior Financial Analyst

Description

Responsibilities:

Manage and track financial performance against annual budget, seasonal financial plans, and key KPI's
* Coordinate across both business and FP&A teams to support reporting requirements and drive cross functional alignment
* Build review packages, forecast models, and handle day-to-day activities related to forecasting/planning
* Build and maintain effective business partnerships within the organization
* Prepare variance analysis to identify and explain variances to the budget/forecast
Conduct ad-hoc analysis and scenario modeling at the request of management business partners to aid in decision-making
* Assist with preparation for earnings calls and board material preparation


Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s in accounting/finance, MBA preferred
* 4-6 years FP&A experience, supporting Sales and/or Marketing business unit
* Strong understanding of financial statements, ability to analyze financial results and a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts
* Ability to develop and update complex financial models
* Ability to question the output of a financial model and consider options for improvement
* Understanding of accounting concepts (revenue recognition concepts, expense timing, capitalization policies, etc.)
* Strong relationship building and communication skills, experience and desire to work cross-functionally
* Strong business and analytical skills; ability to multi-task, stay organized and prioritize deadlines in a continually evolving environment
* Strong Excel experience (macros, pivots, look-ups, logic functions, etc.)
* Knowledge of Netsuite, Coupa and Anaplan preferred
