Senior Analyst, Corporate Development

The Senior Analyst, Corporate Development is responsible for supporting the company’s Corporate Development activities including evaluating M&A opportunities and driving them to closure. This role will report to the VP, Investor Relations and Corporate Development and work closely with FP&A, Accounting, Product and Legal teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engage in business development activities to source, approach, and qualify potential partners and acquisition targets
  • Perform thorough evaluations of new business/acquisition opportunities through analysis of potential target/partner’s business, including technology platform, business strategy, financial prospects, and strategic fit
  • Manage the due diligence process from both a technology and operational viewpoint
  • Facilitate cross-functional team to execute M&A deals and lead transition from deals to business operations
  • Maintain competitive analyses, including the development of industry and peer company performance benchmarks. Continuously measure and update this information and use it to provide a relative performance framework
  • Create a working model for corporate development to assess standalone and illustrative pro forma business potential and performance

  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized with prior experience having gathered, structured, monitored, and validated data to ensure data integrity and detailed documentation; has developed a habit of checking the accuracy of data and analysis several times over before submitting for review
  • Significant expertise and love of auditable financial modeling and setting up automated processes to increase the effectiveness of the team and minimize room for error
  • Excellent multi-tasker who is always “on it” with stellar time and project management skills; understands the importance of planning in advance to meet deadlines that include multiple review points and iterations
  • Strong communicator, both written & verbal; reliable and responsive to email and phone communications; and
  • Highest level of integrity and good judgment, with the ability to effectively deal with highly sensitive, confidential information


  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of combined experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development at a public SaaS company
