Director, Sales Operations – Americas

Qualys is looking for an experienced Director of Sales Operations who will lead the Americas sales operations team.  The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Sales, Customer Support, Marketing, Finance, HR, and IT.


  •  The Director of Sales Operations Americas is a vital partner to the Americas Sales leadership team and is responsible for critical functions essential to drive sales performance, productivity, efficiency and ease of doing business in the region.


  • Serves as a thought partner to Sales Leadership providing insights on areas of opportunity and strength within the business based on business analytics and knowledge of the products and business environment to achieve goals.


  • Work closely with the finance team and sales leadership teams to plan and execute territory planning, quota planning and commissions.


  • Leads day to day operational execution and transactional sales support ensuring effective collaboration cross-functionally.


  • Owns and drives the sales forecasting process to ensure high levels of accuracy and quality in the pipeline.


  • Interacts with executive management; negotiation of difficult matters to influence internal standard operating procedures and policies.


  • Drives full utilization and compliance with Salesforce-CRM processes/procedures and acts as sales sponsor with IT to ensure sales requirements are being met for new projects.


  • Collaborates with the operational leadership team to define and improve standard operating procedures and policies.


  • Implements and manages sales automation tools to ensure the sales team has the tools they need to succeed by evaluating usage and capability of the tools currently in use.


Must Haves

  • 6+ years of experience having managed a sales operations team in the Americas region for a SaaS company
  • 6+ years of experience having managed territory management, quota setting, commissions and forecasting processes.
  • Strong people and thought leadership skills with the ability to develop, mentor and coach others
  • 6+ years of experience leveraging (admin or user)
  • Sophisticated financial, analytical, strategy, business planning and data management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Bonus Points

  • Experience Implementing a Territory, Quota Planning and / or Commission software for a global sales team
  • Experience building out reports and leveraging business intelligence tools such as Tableau
