Manager, Sales Development Representative

The Sales Development Manager will be responsible for recruiting, developing and managing the team of Technical Development Representatives. The manager is expected to proactively drive the lead engagement/demand generation projects globally leading to efficient and timely handling of the trial/RFI/demo/event inbound requests. The end objective is to improvise the adoption of trial users and push qualified leads into the sales funnel ahead for Technical Account Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive a team of sales development reps (10+). 
  • Motivate and lead SDR team to drive pipeline development. 
  • Orchestrate new processes & measure outcomes to influence MQL to SAL ratio – specifically, by improving first-response rates, cadence response rates, demo show-up rates, and/or SALs that are driven by SDR teams 
  • Work with content/sales enablement to experiment with new email ideas for outreach 
  • Collaborate with Regional leadership on planning and execution of lead engagement 
  • Provide accurate pipeline forecasts and track sales activities 
  • Support the learning and development of the sales team 
  • Develop and execute sales strategy through market analysis 
  • Track all relevant qualifications and lead management activity using CRM 
  • Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to ensure territory revenue objectives 
  • Develop and execute on a strong prospecting plan of attack, including email and phone. 


  • Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing demonstrated sales success 
  • Strong negotiation skills and objection handling  
  • Clear, comprehensive, and effective written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Exposure to tools & CRMs like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, Salesforce. 
  • The proven track record of consistency in overachieving targets / Exposed to targets 
  • Experience managing Business Development teams 
  • Experience generate and maintaining relationships with sales leads
