This is an onsite position, 5 days/week, in the Vadodara office working a SPLIT SHIFT - about 1pm-10pm local India time. Remote applicants will not be considered.
Responsibilities for the Systems Engineer I
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure are available
- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with internal teams to implement those fixes
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Write and maintain PowerShell scripts to increase system (and team) efficiency and lower the human intervention time on tasks
- Responsible for technical escalation from Desktop Support team
- Act as a liaison with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Qualifications of the Systems Engineer I
- 8+ years of progressively increasing IT experience
- Technical or bachelor’s degree in systems, software engineering, or related field
- Experience developing, managing, and monitoring Azure cloud Infrastructure
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune/Endpoint Manager, and Autopilot
- Experience with Windows-based operating systems
- Experience deploying and managing infrastructure resources using automation tools like PowerShell
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities of the Systems Engineer I
- Ability to communicate effectively in English at an intermediate level
