The Opportunity:
You will be responsible for the planning, implementation and execution of our testing strategy for a leading EHR in the US healthcare market. You will ensure quality for ongoing software releases and new feature development. This is a key role in maintaining software quality standards and requires becoming a domain subject matter expert in one or more areas of the application.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop test plans/cases from software requirements artifacts including user stories, and workflow diagrams.
- Perform software test execution through all software application layers (web, middleware and mobile).
- Participate and perform Project QA Lead tasks with an agile approach, including reporting of software test execution status to Management.
- Mentor associate level QA members.
- Audit compliance reviews for all required software test artifacts and be available for consultation for all impacted projects.
- Analyze Software Quality metrics to determine appropriate test strategies to remediate systemic issues.
- Own the identification and execution of refinements to drive continuous improvements to overall Software Quality standards to specified test tracks.
Skills we need:
- Technical or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another related degree.
- Advanced English.
- Working knowledge of Quality Engineering concepts such as risk based testing, exploratory testing and white box/black box testing.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD processes as they relate to quality engineering testing environments and deployments.
- Experience with data integrity, data migration, or data pipeline testing.
- Experience with snowflake, DBT and python is preferred.
- Knowledge/experience of automated test toolsets.
- Working knowledge of Quality Metrics.
- Experience in writing and executing SQL scripts for database level validations.
- Experience with agile tools such as Jira, defect ticketing tools, and test management tools such as TFS, TestRail, etc.
- Experience working on a team employing Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Administrative level knowledge of change control and configuration management practices.
