Job Description:

• Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.

• Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital assistants, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches, Evaluate and modify system's performance.

• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.

• Maintain system efficiency by ensuring design of system allows all components to work properly together.

• Troubleshoot problems reported by users, analyze and isolate issues.

• Maintain network and system security, monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.

• Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.

• Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.

• Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
  
  
• Web Server Administration experience and management skills on – IIS 5.0 / IIS 6.0/ IIS 7.0: 

• Managing IIS 5.0 / IIS 6.0/IIS 7.0 Web servers and hosted web sites and experience in creating and configuring new internal & external websites (HTTP and HTTPS). 

• Website content and application release management and heath check of the servers, application support for asp, .NET based hosted internal & external websites. 

• Planning and implementing the disaster recovery and resolve web architectural issues.

• Deploying and troubleshooting of .Net based Applications on large IIS web server farms.

• Creating, deploying, renewing and import & export of the SSL certificates. 

• Configuring Site Minder web agents’ clients for authentication 

• Defining the policies to host applications and setting proper permission and security. 

• Coordination with application development teams for issue troubleshooting. 

• Working Knowledge of DevOps Architectures and functions.

Requirements include:

• Must be eligible to work in the US Time Zone from INDIA Office
  • Microsoft Windows Server operating system (8+ years)
  • IIS experience (5+ years), including experience configuring and managing Web farms
  • SQL Server experience (3+ years), including experience configuring and managing SQL
  • Server clusters
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, current networking technologies, security
  • administration, and backup/recovery technologies within the Microsoft environment
  • Prior experience supporting a Product Development team or Consulting organization, would be a plus
  • Experience with PowerShell and scripting, would be a plus
