Summary of the RCMS Account Manager II

The RCMS Account Manager II is responsible for providing oversite of a customer's RCMS contract. They should have the ability to address multiple Enterprise and/or Small business accounts. They will ensure the revenue cycles is processing appropriately and KPIs are within expected parameters. They will also resolve concerns with customer(s) and team member(s) with minimal support from RCMS Leadership to ensure a productive revenue cycle.

Responsibilities for the RCMS Account Manager II

  • Coordinate billing operations and support actions with other team members
  • Lead by example with regards to execution of daily responsibilities
  • Exemplify ownership and leadership to ensure deliverables are effectively addressed
  • Serve as a guide to RCMS for customers and internal team
  • Provide stellar customer service
  • Lead efforts in payer and industry research impacting customers' businesses
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure metrics are met for contracts assigned
  • Serve as POC for customer facing communications
  • Maintain skills of Senior Billing Specialist; step in and help team members to maintain contractual KPIs
  • Monitor accounts for KPI performance and escalations
  • Assist in process development or review as needed

 Qualifications of the RCMS Account Manager II

  • 2-4 years of experience in medical billing or related field

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities of the RCMS Account Manager II

  • Has substantial understanding of medical billing, revenue cycle, and applies knowledge and skills to oversee the customer's contract(s)
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Can identify trends, identify root causes, and design solutions with minimal support from leadership
