Position at Quadient

The Business Analyst (Professional Services) is entrusted with the following tasks:

  • Visiting client on-site for proposals and requirements meetings
  • Developing projects feasibility reports
  • Analysing business processes and flows
  • Providing creative solutions to business challenges and goals utilising business and technology expertise
  • Prioritize features, define project scope and identify risks
  • Presenting solutions to the client
  • Translating technical requirements or limitations into words a business user can understand
  • Create Functional Specification Document and Technical Specification Document
  • Conduct User Requirements Workshops with customers
  • Work closely with Project Manager and other stakeholders for system implementation and development
  • Liaise between development team and business users
  • Travel as needed to support the organization’s engagements (up to 50% of time)

 

Requirements of the Business Analyst:

  • Ability to quickly explore, examine and understand complex problems and how it relates to the customer’s business
  • Experience with both the Unix and Windows operating systems; comfortable on the command line interface
  • Working knowledge or recent experience with scripting languages, application development, databases and analytical tools
  • Ability to stop, collaborate and listen with technical and non-technical consumers from IT administrators to executive level stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and self-educating, yet willing and able to work collaboratively with both customers and fellow Spelunkers
  • Well organized with a healthy sense of urgency, able to set; communicate; and meet aggressive deadlines with competing priorities
  • Demonstrable understanding of common enterprise applications

 

Qualifications:

  • Fluent verbal and written English skills required
  • Fluent verbal and written Spanish skills required
  • 5+ years CCM/business analysis experience
  • Certification ECBA, CCBA, CBAP or CBATL
  • Advanced degree in engineering, math, economics, computer science or other relevant field
  • Experience creating high quality documentation
  • CCM (Content Communication Management) or ECM (Enterprise Content Management) experience
  • Understanding and experience of technology and various software applications
  • Advanced interpersonal, presentation, organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Inspire is a plus
